Know Me
As a resident of my hometown of Yelm, Washington I felt it was a natural responsibility of our townspeople to be involved in our schools. Our small city is centered around the facilities that keep our children safe and nurture their curiosity in public education. This is where I started my volunteerism. I have donated many hours to connect with students and ensure there are enrichment opportunities for the populace.
In my advocacy for youth mental health and community wellness, I crave collaborative meetings with parents and faculty. I aim for constructive change and solutions.
It was my passion for leadership and education that brought me here. I say leadership because as a young adult I felt an unyielding force to follow a path that was already paved. With that foundation to speak on, I inspire others to follow. I say education because I speak to what I know and what is written for me.
My personal goal as a leader is to create future leaders. Community members that want to feel included, seen, and overall improve the lives of our residents.

Ashley has been a wonderful addition to the Yelm City Council. She is always attending local events and she truly cares about this community. Like myself, Ashley has grown up in Yelm (actually we’re from the same neighborhood) and is a member of many local organizations. I fully support her candidacy and hope the people of Yelm choose to retain her.
